Creating a simulation concept
With the Create Concept form (concept > Concepts > Simulation Concept > Create Concept), which is the first step of the Concept workflow, you create a new concept or edit an existing one.

You can copy, rename, or delete your existing subsurface models via the toolbar on this form.

Duplicates the currently selected concept in the drop-down list (i.e., the active concept). |

Opens the Rename dialog, where a new name can be given to the active concept. |

Deletes the active concept. |
Important
Simulation Concepts can only be deleted using the
Delete option on the Create Concept form.

- On the Create Concept form, select
Create new from the drop-down list. - Type a name for the simulation concept in the adjacent text field.
- In the Description field, optionally give a description for your simulation concept. This could contain the following:
- Purpose of the simulation concept and supporting arguments.
- Observations and data.
- References to supporting data.
- Click Apply to create the simulation concept and keep the form open, or click OK to create the concept and proceed to the Assign Data form where you can assign the data.
